Figma to WordPress and optimization for Start to Sold
WordPress development with Elementor from the Figma designs of Start to Sold, Emily Anne Page’s business growth consultancy. Besides building new pages, I organized and cleaned up a website that had grown in a messy way and optimized it to load faster. We are still working together.

The starting point
A website that had grown without order
Start to Sold helps business owners pitch, scale and sell their company. Its website is the gateway to everything they offer: coaching, speaking, trainings, an online course and the blog.
When I started, the website worked, but it was messy. The client already had the designs in Figma and needed someone to bring them into WordPress faithfully and, along the way, leave the site cleaner and faster.
My role
The design is theirs, the development is mine
The client provides the design. My job is to turn it into WordPress pages with Elementor that look the same as in Figma, on desktop, tablet and mobile.
Implementing someone else’s design means taking care of every detail (spacing, typography, buttons) and solving during development the cases a static design does not show.

It is an ongoing collaboration: every new page or improvement follows the same cycle.

I review the design
I review the design in Figma and clarify with the client anything that is not defined before starting development.

Development in Elementor
I build the page faithful to the design and responsive, keeping it consistent with the rest of the website.

I organize and clean up
I use each delivery to tidy up what was already there: the structure, repeated sections and elements that were not needed.

I optimize
I review speed and Core Web Vitals so the website stays fast as it grows.

Publish and keep going
I publish the changes and we move on to the next thing: the website keeps evolving with the business.
