Website redesign for composer Tristan Bechet
A landing page redesign for Tristan Bechet (TRZTN), a Los Angeles-based composer and producer who creates music for film, brand campaigns and his own projects. I analyzed what he needed, presented three design proposals, refined the chosen one and built it in WordPress with Bricks Builder, with the videos served from Cloudinary so they do not weigh the site down.

The starting point
Work best understood through video
Tristan Bechet composes for films such as The Seeding and Mutter, an official selection at the Tribeca Festival, and for brand campaigns such as Fenty x Puma, Hugo Boss and Nike x Sacai. His website had to live up to that work.
The previous landing page was one long column of images, text and links, with no clear structure or navigation. And his work is best understood through video: trailers, campaigns and music videos.
The proposal
Three proposals, one direction
I started by understanding what he wanted to convey and what a director or a brand needed to find when they arrived: his latest work, his featured projects, his records and how to reach him.
With that, I prepared three design proposals. We chose one and refined it together until it was exactly what he wanted.
The result is a dark, cinematic website, with video at the center and navigation that goes straight to film, commercial work, records and contact.

Estimate your budget- 01
Analysis
I reviewed the previous landing page and what the client wanted his website to communicate.
- 02
Three proposals
I designed three different versions so he could compare them and choose a direction.
- 03
Refinements
We fine-tuned the chosen proposal together until the design was final.
- 04
Building in Bricks
I built the website in WordPress with Bricks Builder, responsive and true to the design.
- 05
Video outside WordPress
I hosted the videos on Cloudinary and the site only loads their URL, without adding that weight to the server.
- 06
Launch
I launched the website optimized and connected to Google services.
What the project included
I took care of the whole project, from analysis to launch.
- 01

Three design proposals based on what the client wanted to convey.
- 02
Landing page redesign
A clear structure by section: film, commercial work, records and contact.

Bricks Builder development
The website built in WordPress with Bricks, adapted to desktop, tablet and mobile.
- 04
Video on Cloudinary
Videos are served from Cloudinary so WordPress does not have to carry them.

Result
A website that lives up to his music
Tristan now has a website that lives up to his music: organized, with video up front and navigation that takes each visitor straight to what they are looking for.
Because the videos are served from Cloudinary, WordPress does not carry that weight even though almost every section has video.
